Work in Progress
|
Corylus and Nut were installed in June at Fidelity Investsments- Tonbridge site ( see images in 'Recent Work') Woodhenge was installed in July for a private collector in Herts ( see image in 'Recent Work') After the recent success of Font at the Montpellier Chapter Hotel in Cheltenham (see portfolio Furniture), we have produced Font II for TheMagdalen Chapter in Exeter (See www.chapterhotels.com) to open late Spring 2012 Work continues on the making of 6 large curving benches for The Rothschild Foundation at Waddeston. They will be sited on the terrace so one can sit and enjoy a Richard Long slate sculpture on the Rolling Lawn. Working with the garden designer, Arne Maynard, www.arnemaynard.com we are currently sculpting a prototype bench for the Laurent Perrier Bicentennial show garden for Chelsea Flower Show in May. Building on the success of last year’s small sculptures for Sarah Myerscough Fine Art at Collect (see 'Recent Work' Incised Kidney), we are carving a new set of small sculptures for this year’s Collect, at The New Saatchi Galleries, May 2012 Having won a commission to produce the "Big Table" for property developers, St James Group, at Kew Bridge, London, we are working with Futurecity Ltd., strategic planners ,in refining the design. We are delighted to confirm that Pod I and Mapping, were sold to clients in China and have finally reached their destination in the main lobby of the Sheraton Hotel, Gwangzhou.
